This Federal Aviation Administration record, released in 2023, is a preliminary FAA operations report dated February 9, 2019. Seattle ARTCC advised that the crew of Alaska Airlines flight 428, a Boeing 737-900 flying south at FL350 from Seattle to Los Angeles, reported a slow-moving UFO. The object showed a flashing white light between FL400 and FL500 and was heading northeast, 14 miles north-northeast of Chiloquin, Oregon. WADS was notified.
