This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report, released in 2023 by the Department of Transportation, describes an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported on October 26, 2024. The crew of American Airlines flight AAL1468, a B38M flying west at FL360 from Miami to San Antonio, reported white lights circling above the aircraft at about FL370, 170 nautical miles west of RSW. The report, filed by facility ZMA and now closed, notes that the object was not seen on ATC radar.
