This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released by the Department of Transportation, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported at 00:10 on October 19, 2024. The crew of EJA647, a C56X flying from TEB to CHS, saw an orange light off the left side while southwest bound at 7,000 feet, 7 nautical miles southeast of CHS. The light rose straight up to 10,000 feet and came back down without moving in any direction. ATC radar did not detect it, and the report is closed.
