This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report, released in 2023 by the Department of Transportation, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported on February 14, 2024. Delta flight DAL757, a Boeing 767 flying from Phoenix to Atlanta, was eastbound at FL370 about 50 nautical miles west of Huntsville. The crew described multiple lights orbiting well ahead and above them at varying altitudes. The phenomenon did not appear on air traffic control radar, and the report is marked closed.
