This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report on an unidentified aerial phenomenon, logged on December 23, 2023 at 04:36 by Salt Lake Center. The crew of American Airlines flight AAL2003, flying from Dallas-Fort Worth to Seattle at FL340, reported two star-like lights above the horizon, 41 NM SSW of PIH. The lights dimmed and reappeared. Radar did not show the phenomenon, and flights DAL2665 and SWA111 reported the same thing. The report is closed.

The unknown phenomenon was two lights above the horizon that looked like a star, except they were dimming and reappearing. The UAP was not observed on ATC facility radar system.
