This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, dated 31 October 2023 and marked closed, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon seen by United Airlines flight UAL189. The Boeing 737-800 was flying from RPLL to Guam, and the report came through the ZOA reporting facility. The crew was eastbound at FL350 over the YELLO intersection when they saw bright white lights off both sides of the aircraft. The lights were traveling southeast about 100 to 500 NM away, at an estimated FL410 to FL800.
