This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported on October 4, 2023. It was filed through the Denver facility (ZDV). Delta flight DAL2779, a Boeing 737-900 flying from Las Vegas to Minneapolis, reported the phenomenon off its left side while at FL390, 83 nautical miles northeast of BFF. The crew described three bright white lights that neither moved nor changed altitude and blinked left to right and back. The report is marked closed.
