This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report covers an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported at 08:00 on September 5, 2023, and is now closed. Delta flight DAL574, a Boeing 757 flying from San Francisco to Atlanta, was eastbound at FL370 about 50 NM north of Atlanta. The crew reported multiple dim and bright lights orbiting with erratic movement above FL370 off the left side. Two other flights reported similar activity in the same area, and no evasive maneuvers or operational impact were reported.

NKS1828, A320, KLAX to KATL and AMX692, B39M, MMMX to CYYZ reported similar activity in same general area. No evasive maneuvers and no operational impact reported.
