This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report is a closed entry dated August 5, 2023. It was filed through the Jacksonville facility (ZJX). The crew of Southwest flight SWG6415, a Boeing 737 MAX 8 flying commercially from MUHG to Toronto (CYYZ), reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon between FL400 and FL600 while cruising at 31,000 feet. They described bright circling lights that maneuvered for one to two minutes.
