This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released in 2023 and filed under the primary code unidentified aerial phenomenon. It concerns an event on 2 May 2023 at Birmingham (BHM). A Cessna C550 flying inbound from Pensacola reported bright lights ahead of it. The lights changed in intensity and circled counterclockwise at high altitude north of BHM. Two other aircraft, a C208 and a PC12, reported the same lights in the same location. The report is marked closed.
