This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch Incident Report, released in 2023, about an unidentified aerial phenomenon on February 17, 2023. A commercial Gulfstream flight, callsign PRD57, was flying from Teterboro to Fort Lauderdale Executive. Its crew reported a balloon-shaped object moving eastbound while they were southbound at 43,000 feet, 30 miles east of GRD. A second aircraft, N850VP, southbound at FL400, reported the same sighting. The AWO was notified and the report is marked closed.
