This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report dated February 13, 2023, and filed with the primary code "unidentified aerial phenomenon." The crew of Delta flight DAL26, an A359 flying from RKSI to Atlanta, reported a phenomenon off the front of the aircraft while eastbound at 37,000 feet. The report concludes that the sighting matched a southeast-bound Starlink satellite train lit by the rising sun, and NORAD concurred. The case is marked closed.

The unknown phenomenon correlates with a STARLINK train traveling SE bound and at a time that would likely light them up from rising easterly sun. NORAD concurs. ATSC briefed OMIC on Satellitemap.space and how to identify possible reports that may correlate to these activities.
