This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report from February 12, 2023, now closed, filed by Boston Center (ZBW). It covers a commercial Boeing 747-8 flying eastbound at FL350 from Chicago O'Hare to Luxembourg, 43 NM northwest of BTV. The crew described a light, estimated to be above FL600, moving in an erratic pattern. Three lights formed a triangle and merged into one light several times. A second aircraft headed north to CZUL reported the same thing, and AWO was notified.
