This is a Federal Aviation Administration report from the Department of Transportation, logged as an unidentified aerial phenomenon and now closed. It records that on 3 February 2023 the crew of a general aviation Falcon 7X, callsign N506BA, flying west from Cleveland to Santa Fe at FL430, reported a large balloon off their left side about 10 NM north of BQS. The balloon was at approximately FL500 or higher. Kansas City Center (ZKC) was the reporting facility.
