This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report is dated February 1, 2023, and its status is closed. The crew of American Airlines flight AAL2399, an A21N flying from Las Vegas to Charlotte, reported an unidentified aerial phenomenon off the left side. At the time they were eastbound at FL350, 10 NM west of BNA. The crew described red, green and white lights flying in formation above their altitude, changing color and brightness, over Bowling Green. A mandatory occurrence report was filed.
