This FAA Skywatch incident report, released by the Department of Transportation's Federal Aviation Administration in 2023, covers an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported on December 17, 2022. The crew of United Airlines flight UAL1126, an A320 flying from Phoenix to Chicago O'Hare, was heading east at FL370 about 21 nautical miles north of MCI when they saw red, green and white lights fading in and out high above them. The report notes the lights were possibly satellites, and the case is marked closed.
