This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released in 2023, on an unidentified aerial phenomenon seen at 04:28 on September 21, 2022. The crew of Frontier flight FFT2117, an A20N flying from Detroit to Las Vegas, reported a light heading north at about FL340, 40 NM south of PGA. The light then switched off and kept moving north. Because the object was in the altitude band the pilot planned to descend through, the pilot stopped the descent. The report is marked closed.

The unknown phenomenon was a light traveling north bound at approximately FL340, the UFO then proceeded to turn its light off and continue north bound.
