This is a Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released in 2023, about an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported at 01:50 on July 28, 2022. Delta flight DAL2230, an A321 flying from Detroit to Salt Lake City, reported the object at its 12 o'clock while westbound at FL340, 35 miles southeast of LBF. The object was stationary and untethered and had no lights, and its color and size were unknown as it passed beneath the aircraft. The report is closed.
