This Federal Aviation Administration Skywatch incident report, released in 2023, records an unidentified aerial phenomenon reported at 15:47 on October 16, 2021, and handled by NCRCC. PCT reported a primary target near DAA moving northeast. It did not appear on AADS or AMOSS, and Department of Defense data showed it fading. Pentagon Police reported a UAS alert near Arlington Ridge Road. Helicopters and DCA searched for the target, but no visual verification was made, and the report is closed.

Helos in the area and DCA are looking for target. 1551 Pentagon Police advised that they picked up a UAS alert at Arlington Ridge Rd and Lynne St (DCA280001) All entities still looking.
