This Clinton Presidential Library release collects NSC cables from February 1993 to November 1994 that were filed under the heading of flying saucers or UFOs. Five cables are withheld on national security grounds. A US Embassy Zagreb update from February 1993 reports Croatian press coverage of a Russian Ministry of Defense "UFO dossier." Two FBIS translations follow. One covers UFO-oriented sects in Peru and a sighting at Huaraz. The other covers UFOs that Interior Ministry personnel saw in Las Tunas Province, Cuba, on 29 October 1994.

close to the Majibacoa prison believed the UFOs to be planes or helicopters dropping packages or paratroopers. However, they later realized the objects were really UFOs. (Akruv Petrovsky), member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and other scientists state that UFOs are no more than air containing a very small amount of particles. This gets mixed with the surrounding air and ends up mysteriously disappearing. (Petrovsky) states that these UFOs can move, turn, accelerate, and disapear in an instant.
