This Clinton Presidential Library FOIA release (2006-0474-F) contains White House correspondence from late 1994 and early 1995. Representative Collin C. Peterson forwarded a letter from constituent Tony Plumage asking for an executive order to declassify government information on UFOs. Susan Brophy of the White House replied on December 1, 1994. Her reply repeated a National Archives letter from Richard W. Peuser: the Project Blue Book records for 1947 to 1969 contain no reference to Roswell, and further questions should go to the Air Force. A Roswell petition flyer is also included.

You may be interested that three parties, Congressman Schiff of New Mexico, the General Accounting Office, and the Department of the Air Force conducted an investigation into the alleged incident at Roswell. The office mentioned above can provide more information. The National Archives has custody of the records of Project BLUEBOOK, the U.S. Air Force's investigation of UFOs (unidentified flying objects). The records cover the period, 1947-1969. There is no reference to the incident at Roswell among these records.
