This Defense Intelligence Agency release gathers Army and Air Force intelligence reports on unidentified flying objects from several countries. It contains translated Finnish Border Guard reports of glowing spheres and lights seen near the Soviet border, a Costa Rica sighting near Puntarenas, and Afghan news items from 1959 on bright objects over Kandahar, Mazar-i-Sharif and Kabul. Other reports describe objects over Kuldja in Sinkiang, China. A 1969 OSI report from Nakhon Phanom, Thailand concludes that a pilot's ground sighting was probably a religious procession carrying ceremonial drums.

## OBSERVATIONS OF ATTRACE XILABORATED OBJECTS IN THE BORNATER SIX DURING THE AUGUST OF OCTOBER . . . AND NOVEMBER 1904 . . . 10. 10.1939 at 19.10.1939 near in the village of Martine in the province of Succesalai sphere alquine; with a rudish-gallery light was sighted rising over the trestops in the sky in the northwest. The sphere appeared to stay clearly to and fro for a couple of minutes and thereafter to descend. The weather conditions were bright and there were almost no clouds. Illuminated objects of the same kind have been sighted near the border for a number of years and they have been regarded as signals for night-flying aircraft. Ordinarily such spheres have been visible, however, for an extended period of time (several hours). 27. 11.1968 after 82 hours a party of six persons sighted a remarkable light phenomenon in the southern sky above Najumi. From a great altitude there fell earthward an orange-red sphere on the left margin of which was a gap (notch). The sphere fell to the height of the treetops, where it glued for a couple of minutes as if suspended and then plunged into the forest. The sphere appeared larger than the moon. The phenomenon faded away in a southeasterly direction. No natural explanation for the phenomenon has been given. 17,11,1864 at Olsv. hours. That a redish ashura, which was visible for some minutes, in direction of 50. The ashura, the ashura at an angle of about 40 degrees in relation to the ground and appeared to be full ashura, in alam. The same kind of brilliant architectural object... was visible for a short time on October 10th at this year near the village of Pursa... (attributed about it, in northwest of the village of Bursala... Wall, 1958, at Khalil Aura film portents, returning from Bulukalahti, in the rural commune of Jalalul, in Kelantan, in village about five kilometers northeast of the town of Kuala Lumpur, sighted a strange illuminated object to the east of the highway. Elongated in shape and at during natural motion in length, it appeared to be traveling at high speed toward the south, fairly near the observers on the eastern side of the road, simultaneously, the object illuminated the whole vicinity like a flash of lightning, and a rather low noise accompanied its flight, resembling the hiss of a short-circuit in a high tension power line. The object was visible for at least a couple of minutes and gradually faded away by rising into the southern sky. The phenomenon was quite plain to see and the travelers halted their horses in order to watch the spectacle for as long as it lasted. 27. 11.1917 at 07.30 hours, at the frontier in the commune of Guomussalmi area, border worker 723, started about midway between the villages of Jantice and Turus), was sighted in the northern sky, in direction 54.00, a sphere throwing on a reddish and nearing three times the size of a star that slowly moved from west to east, so far behind the edge of the forest after about five minutes. The distance from the point to the sphere was several dozen, perhaps several hundred kilometers.
