This Central Intelligence Agency record, approved for release in July 2005, is an interview with a person whose name is withheld, on the subject of unidentified flying objects. The subject said he had extrasensory perception and could travel in a fourth dimension, and he described meeting saucer occupants on a screen. He also said that on the night of May 11 and 12 a red orb landed in the desert near a convention site and that he walked about twenty miles following a magnetic force.

Approved For Release 2005/07/20 : CIA-RDP81R00560R000100080020-2 STATINTL 6. During the night of May 11th and 12th, had an encounter with a flying saucer, as he states, in three dimensions. During the evening he felt a magnetic field directing him into the desert. After about a two mile walk he saw what appeared to be a star, but as he looked it blinked an orange light several times and grew into a white light, about fifteen or twenty miles away. It approached him to within about 4 mile at about 1500' altitude and changed into a round red orb of light, 20 - 30 feet in diameter. It remained motionless for about five minutes; as he approached it moved away and landed in the desert. ## STATINTL 7. ___ spent the rest of the night walking in the desert as directed by the magnetic force he previously noted. Several times he felt that he was near and on one occasion he felt that he was lead around the saucer but it was invisible. He felt the presence of the people who had arrived in the saucer and voiced greetings to them on several occasions. After spending most of the night walking in the desert as directed, a revelation of a very personal nature came to ___ After this he felt that the mission of the saucer was accomplished and the encounter was over. He returned to camp. On his return journey he encountered three people who had camped about two miles from the convention site who stated that they saw the light first described by ___ ## STATINTL ## STATINTL ## STATINTL 6. ___ estimates that during the night he walked about twenty miles. He stated that at the time he was suffering from the mumps and was in considerable discomfort. He would much rather have been in camp asleep but he felt that he should follow the magnetic impulses. He said that he was not compelled to follow and that he could have broken off and gone home at any time.
