This Central Intelligence Agency dispatch dated 16 June 1954, declassified in 2006 under the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act, forwards two informant reports on Czech emigre affairs from Milosch Svoboda of General Prchala's Czech National Committee. They cover Prchala's refusal to join the ABN, a claim that Vladimir Pekelsky is paid DM 5,000 monthly by a German intelligence agency, the disappearance of Jaroslav Novak, and exile leadership disputes. The document contains no UFO material.

General Lev PRCHALA is expected to come to NUNICH in early June. This trip of the President of the Czech National Committee is associated with PRCHALA's decision to settle in GERMANY. His moving to GERMANY has supposedly been planned for some time since it has been recognized that East-European politics-in-exile can be performed successfully only either in the UDA or in GERMANY. Nevertheless, the decision to move to GERMANY came suddenly in May. His friends in GERMANY do not know the reason for this hurry. SVCBODA mentioned that the two Slovak leaders, M. GERNAK and F. MURCANSKY, feel disturbed by this fact since they anticipate a subsequent neglect of the Slovaks in relations with German expellee circles. Regarding the disappearance of Yaroslav NOVAK, SVCBODA reported the following: (1) It is claimed in East-European emigra circles that "the American agent MISCHAIKOW lured NOVAK into an American trap"; (2) As far as the investigations of the Czech National Committee are concerned, they have been completed. SVCBODA does not have any concrete facts but he supposes that "NOVAK went to the CSR on orders of certain Sudeten German circles interested in finance transactions from the CSR." The Czech National Committee, however, does not intend to issue a public denial of NOVAK's statement that he held membership in the Committee. SVCBODA formulates the reason as follows: A denial would give rise to the surmise that NOVAK was a member of the Czech National Committee and that the latter now wants to alienate itself from him. The struggle for the leadership of the new "Council of the Free CSR" in the USA between Dr. Stephan OSUSKY and Dr. Josef CERNY adopts a new shape. CERNY attempts to ease out OSUSKY by appointing him to the Foreign Policy Committee of the "Council of the Free CSR" and sending him to CERLANY in this capacity, in order to negotiate with
