This CIA file comes from the Klaus Barbie volume of the Nazi War Crimes Disclosure Act release. It contains classified Central Intelligence Group cable traffic sent from Frankfurt to Special Operations. The messages say the French got no satisfaction on their request for the subject's extradition. They also cover the subject's earlier arrest on suspicion of subversive activities, later work for CIC subregions as an informant considered reliable, and investigations into possible links with a German nationalist subversive group. A second message corrects wording in an earlier report.
