These are minutes of a Central Intelligence Agency Director's Deputies' Meeting held on Friday, 5 December 1952, with General Smith, Mr. Dulles, Mr. Wisner, Mr. Amory and others present. They cover attendance at a meeting on the French labor question, a planned meeting with a Colonel G., and arrangements for a briefing room for General Eisenhower. Mr. Amory also reported that the IAC had accepted a proposal to set up a committee of scientists to study the flying saucer problem further.

Reported that the men he had sent to o set up _briefinz room for General Eisenhower did not get expec e cooperation fro Although Mr. Amory is prepared to set up a complete situation room, the Director indicated that this would not be in order but that a simple room in which briefings could take place would meet General Eisenhower's require- ments. The Director- said that he would talk to on the phone after the meeting. (NOTE: This call was completed.) b. Reported that the IAC had accepted the proposal that a committee of scientists be set up for the further study of the flying saucer problem.
