This is the President's Intelligence Checklist for 19 September 1961, a Central Intelligence Agency daily briefing released in 2016 with redactions. Its main item covers the Congo crisis after Hammarskjold's death: Irish troops at Jadotville had surrendered, fighting had spread in Katanga, and UN forces were only holding positions. It also covers Algerian rebel leaders meeting Ambassador Walmsley and notes a Soviet fighter incident in the Berlin air corridors. It does not discuss UFOs.
