This Central Intelligence Agency file, dated 29 September 1975, collects Office of Security memoranda written while the Senate Select Committee was investigating the Agency. Staff were told to alert former employees about possible committee contact over Project MERRIMAC/RESISTANCE, and the file answers committee questions about Hayes International and Bay of Pigs pilots. It also records staff interviews about CIA name checks at NSA and a Justice Department request for records on domestic electronic surveillance. It contains no material on UFOs.

PROCEDURE Subject was afforded a security interview by this examiner using the detection of deception technique on S October 1955 between the hours of lQ3§Q_gln._suuLJ;§3O a.m. and l£2Q_Qi@L_§QQ”hjQQ“p.ms" The case was in the nature of an Overseas Returnee. The test was divided into two (2) phases; Phase I consisted of questions pertaining to Comunism and Foreign Intelligence; Phase II contained questions regarding falsification of Personal History Statement, security indiscretions and vulnerability to blackmail. SYNOPSIS Information regarding Subject's associationinithHher;brgtherA and hiswwife, Qudith flare DOQ§Q§, and also information in regard to Sfibject's associates while in Reed College. DETAILS_ (NOTEWORTHY INFORMATION) 1. During the prepolygraph interview, Subject's background and her assggiation with her brothergand,his Hiifi wg§_discussed. Subject was asked if~thefE*was anything she wished to report to Mr. Bannerman concerning her brother and his wife since she returned fromoverseas. Subject stated that the following information may be ofinterest to Mr. Bannerman. ' ' 2.
