This Central Intelligence Agency release, approved in 2010, is an abstract of an article titled "Fantasy or Reality?" from Komsomol'skaya pravda (Vilnius), no. 13, dated 20 January 1968. Several Soviet scientists and specialists were interviewed about unidentified flying objects, among them Docent F. Zigel of the Moscow Aviation Institute, V. Strayzhis and I. Bestuzhev-Lada. Their opinions varied. The article cited eyewitness accounts and argued that the UFO phenomenon needs to be studied.
