This Central Intelligence Agency release carries an unclassified FBIS summary of the "Vid" variety program, broadcast on Moscow Central Television on 25 January 1991 and presented by Igor Kirillov. Most items cover Soviet economic topics, including the withdrawal of large-denomination banknotes, market reform, ownership and business ventures. An "Eldorado" segment includes an Ufa resident claiming to have seen extraterrestrial life-forms linked to the "Perm Triangle", a Moscow artist with a UFO photograph, and a scientist's "parallel world" theory.
