Most items concern the Gulf War, Foreign Minister Bessmertnykh's visit to the United States, unrest in the Baltic republics, and the withdrawal of 50 and 100 ruble notes. A few entries touch on UFOs, including a Tashkent UFO report and a television segment on the "Perm triangle," a photograph with a circular object, and a parallel world theory.
