This Central Intelligence Agency record, dated 10 October 1991, is an unclassified translation of a Spanish-language report from the Buenos Aires news agency TELAM. According to the report, a green metal object weighing about 15 kg and measuring 35 cm across came through the roof of the Romero family's house at 4000 Independencia Street in Corrientes and landed on the couple's bed. Nobody was hurt. Local police were investigating, and the report suggests the object may be a cast iron piece that came loose from a satellite or a flying object.

It damaged the roof but did not cause any casualties. 2 The Romero family reported to the 5th Police Precinct that the strange object damaged the roof of the house at 4000 Independencia Street (30 blocks from downtown Corrientes), and that it fell on the bed of the couple who lives in that house. 3 The object weighs about 15 kg, is 35 cm in diameter, and is green.
