This Central Intelligence Agency routing slip, dated 4 February 1957, carries an attached memorandum dated 11 January 1957. In the memo, Earlee A. James, Chief of the Liaison Division in Central Reference, forwards correspondence about a reported sighting of an unidentified flying object to the U.S. Air Force Director of Intelligence, attention Colonel Charles E. Taylor. It asks that the CIA receive a copy of any investigation report. The routing slip is marked "File UFO."
