This undated Central Intelligence Agency note, catalogued as 1956, survives as a poorly OCR'd handwritten or typed fragment. It says that one aspect of the UFO situation is of CIA interest because it bears on national security. The note warns that mass UFO reports, if they occurred, could cause mass hysteria, overload the radar system, and overload communication facilities. The fragment has no other content, conclusions, or named incidents.
