These are the minutes of the Central Intelligence Agency's Intelligence Advisory Committee meeting held on 4 December 1952, chaired by Acting Deputy Director (Intelligence) Robert Amory, Jr. The committee approved NIE-70 on Latin America and took up Unidentified Flying Objects after Dr. Chadwell reviewed the evidence, most of it processed by ATIC. The Director of Central Intelligence was to enlist selected scientists immediately to review the evidence and to draft a proposed NSCID authorizing coordination with other agencies.
