This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum for the record, dated June 1954, sets out how the Office of Scientific Intelligence divided intelligence responsibilities for non-conventional air vehicles like those being developed by Canadian, British and USAF organizations. ASD/SI was made responsible for identifying, assessing and reporting any foreign power's use of such vehicles. P&E/SI kept the OSI project and central file on unidentified flying objects and was to share relevant material. The memo is signed by Sidney N. Graybeal and others.
