This is a Central Intelligence Agency letter from 2 December 1958 to George Popowitch of the UFO Research Committee in Akron, Ohio. It replies to his letter of 19 November 1958. The Agency says it has forwarded his inquiry about Unidentified Flying Objects to the Department of the Air Force for action. It also rejects his statement that the CIA takes an "active interest" in UFO pictures. The release carries a distribution list and a 2010 approval-for-release stamp.
