This is a letter dated August 19, 1953, from Philip G. Strong of the Central Intelligence Agency to Dr. Samuel A. Goudsmit of Brookhaven National Laboratory. Strong thanks Goudsmit for his August 14 letter about flying saucers. He says Goudsmit's reply to a Mr. Kirsch is exactly what is needed in the present context. He also notes that Ted Nordbeck gave Goudsmit all the material that could be found concerning Jungy, and he apologizes for the delay.

I think that your reply to Mr. Kirsch is exactly what is needed in present context. Ted Nordbeck I know, gave you all the material that we could find in regard to Jungy.
