This is a Central Intelligence Agency letter dated 8 January 1957 from Director Allen W. Dulles to Senator Margaret Chase Smith. Dulles thanks the senator for her letter of 2 January 1957, which enclosed a letter from Mrs. Vincent J. Perry of Mexico, Maine. He says the CIA will make sure that letter is forwarded to the proper authorities for action. The reply does not describe what Mrs. Perry's letter contained.
