This is a letter from H. Marshall Chadwell of the Central Intelligence Agency to physicist Samuel A. Goudsmit of Brookhaven National Laboratory, dated 7 April 1953. It answers Goudsmit's March 1953 request for the name and address of a civilian flying saucer group whose pamphlets he had seen in Chadwell's files in January. The reply names the Aerial Phenomena Research Organization, which publishes the APRO Bulletin, and Civilian Saucer Investigations in Los Angeles, and it thanks Goudsmit for his help that January.

Aminal Pheomena Research Organization Coral Lorensen, National Director P.O. Box 350 Sturgson Bay, Wisconsin This organization publishes the ARCO Bulletin containing reports of sightings. ## 2. Civilian Cancer Investigations A Los Angeles post box (number unknown) is used for their correspondence. Some details are given in Life Harmaio, 3 April 1952 issue. A 12th Ed. Sullivan, whose home address is 11067 Caron Drivo, Lynwood, California, is active in this group. He was formerly employed by the North American Aviation, Inc., in public relations, reportedly. Again let no express my appreciation for your willingness to help us on this problem last January on such short notice.
