This Central Intelligence Agency information report, dated 9 August 1955, describes three flying objects seen one August 1953 evening over a camp about 10 km southwest of Shakhty in the USSR. The objects moved from southeast to northwest without sound, glowing reddish like a comet or shooting star. Observers believed they were rockets. Field comments note that earlier Shakhty reports described loud noises and suggest the objects were propelled by a ramjet or rocket engine.

## Suonis 1 2 July 20 2 igu:ninou 5 lyuca iver 4. The Great North-Wide highway 1.1km from the tow to the cow, flurried by owner roads for horse-rawn vehicles. Construction work on the auction south of Shakhty was started in October 1950. This high speed section was opened for traffic in October 1951. At a temperature of over 25 degrees the highway was blocked by military forces. The highway had no built up ginger units of the army which used modern road construction. n auxiliary airfield, not under cultivation.
