This Central Intelligence Agency cable, dated 25 April 1957, reports that the Director of Central Intelligence received a letter from Leon Davidson of White Plains, New York. Davidson asked for information about a recording and for Agency cooperation in learning what its code message revealed. He also said he had recently testified before the House Subcommittee on Government Information. The sender asks the recipient how the correspondence with Davidson began and requests any background information on him.
