This Central Intelligence Agency release gathers financial records for MKULTRA Subproject 52, with dates running from 1955 to 1964. It includes invoices, certifications, vouchers, receipts, bank statements and expense notebooks for a chemical consultant who was paid to procure and prepare specified chemicals for TSD/BB. The project records describe novel chemicals that could not be obtained through normal channels, among them tetrahydroacridine, dimethyltryptamine and 4-hydroxytryptophan. The documents contain no UFO material.

MEMORANDUM FOR: CHIEF, FINANCE DIVISION VYA THE/Budget Officer SUBJECT MULTRA, Subproject 52, Invoice No. 4, Allotment 8-2502-10-001 1. Invoice No. 4 is attached covering the above subproject. Payment should be made as follows: Cashier's check in the amount of $2,000.00, drawn on a local bank, payable to (C) 2. The check should be forwarded to Chief, TSS/Chemical Division, through TSS/Budget Officer, no later than 18 April 1958. 3. This invoice represents the total amount currently authorized under Subproject 52. However, since it is anticipated that additional funds will be obligated for this project, the files should not be closed.
