This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum, dated 11 January 1957, went from the Chief of the Liaison Division, Office of Central Reference, to the Director of Intelligence, U.S. Air Force, for the attention of Colonel Charles E. Taylor. It forwarded attached correspondence about a reported sighting of an unidentified flying object for whatever action the Air Force considered appropriate. It also asked that the CIA receive a copy of any report produced if an investigation followed.
