This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum, dated 5 January 1955, comes from the Deputy Chief of Support Staff, O/SI, and is addressed to the Chief of the Contact Division, OO. It concerns a wire recording of an unidentified electrical transmission of radio waves and points to an attached enclosure for details of the incident. The memo asks the Office of Operations to try to obtain the recording so this office can investigate it, and to route it through Support Staff/SI to the Physics and Electronics Division/SI.
