This Central Intelligence Agency memorandum for record, signed by Philip G. Strong, Acting Deputy Assistant Director for Scientific Intelligence, and dated 24 April 1953, sets up a meeting with the FCDA. Ted Babbitt reported that any time on 30 April would suit. Governor Peterson would not attend because of a White House commitment and named John deChant, Ralph E. Spear, Ted Babbitt and possibly one more person to go in his place. The memo does not describe any sightings.

SUBJECT: Further to FCDA Meeting 1. Ted Babbitt telephoned this morning that any time on 30 April will be satisfactory for the FCDA meeting. We should call him back suggesting an exact time for them to come here. 2. Governor Peterson will not attend, as he has to be at the White House. His designations are: John deChant Director, Office of Public Affairs Ralph E. Spear - Assistant Administrator for Plans and Policy Ted Sabbitt and possibly one other, whose name Babbitt will phone to D'Arcy Brent. PHILIP G.
