This Central Intelligence Agency letter, signed by Philip G. Strong, Deputy Assistant Director, and dated 3 November 1958, replies to Larry W. Bryant of Newport News, Virginia. It says Bryant's letter has been referred to Major L. J. Tacker of the Office of Information Services, United States Air Force. It states that the Agency has no responsibility for unidentified flying objects. It adds that the Air Force holds executive responsibility and is the only government agency qualified to speak on UFOs.
