This Central Intelligence Agency letter, dated 8 January 1957 and signed by Director Allen W. Dulles, replies to Senator Margaret Chase Smith of the United States Senate. Dulles thanks her for her letter of 2 January 1957, which enclosed a letter from Mrs. Vincent J. Perry of Mexico, Maine. He says the CIA will forward Mrs. Perry's letter to the proper authorities for action. The text gives no details about what her letter contained.
