This Central Intelligence Agency cable, dated 4 November 1957, is a short internal message from a support office. It says no translation or further record exists beyond what the recipient already knows. It reports that a man named Davidson approached ATIC, was given the same answer, and asked for it in writing, which was refused. It notes that he has already received letters from ATIC and the DCI's office. It advises ignoring his letter unless it was registered.

DAVIDSON X DAVIDSON HAS BEEN APPROACHED BY ATIC X ATIC AND THIS SAME MESSAGE WAS GIVEN HIM AGAIN. HE ASKED FOR IT IN WRITING WHICH REFUSED TO DO. DAVIDSON THEN SAID HE WOULD WRITE TO ATIC X ATIC. WE ARE ALL RESIGNED TO MORE LETTERS BUT WE DO NOT THINK YOU SHOULD INJECT YOUR NAME INTO THE MATTER. HE HAS ALREADY RECEIVED A COUPLE OF LETTERS FROM ATIC, TWO FROM THE DCI'S X DCI'S OFFICE AND TWO VISITS FROM SUGGEST YOU SIMPLY IGNORE THE LETTER UNLESS IT WAS REGISTERED.
