This NICAP compilation of USAF Project Blue Book records covers the 3 September 1965 sighting near Exeter, New Hampshire. It holds signed statements from patrolmen Eugene Bertrand and David Hunt and from Norman Muscarello, the officers' UFO data sheets, and press clippings. It also includes the Air Force evaluation, which cites B-47 activity from Pease AFB during Operation Big Blast. The Air Force judged conventional aircraft a possible cause but listed the case as unidentified for statistical purposes.

JACKS Major, USAF Chief, Pictorial Branch Public Information Division Office of Information SAF-OIPB DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE Office of the Secretary United States Air Force Washington, D.C. 20330 Dear Major Jacks: This is a formal enquiry concerning the official USAF evaluation of the detailed UFO Report I submitted to AFSC-FTD/Project Bluebook last month. My investigation and subsequent report took place shortly after the official USAF Investigating Team from Pease APB made their investigation. The UFO sighting took place between the Clyde Russell and Carl Dining properties along Route #150 in Kensington, N.H. on September 3, 1965 in the early hours of the morning. The witnesses were Norman Muscarello and Officers Bertram and Hunt of the Exeter, N.H. police force. In 1964 I customarily received correspondence from your office in response to UFO reports submitted to the USAF for evaluation. This was appreciated. I have submitted many reports since but have not received any response. This is understandable due to the many reports received by the USAF and I do not expect such a service on your part normally, but, I did spend a great deal of time and thought on the Kensington, M.H. report and would appreciate your sending the official USAF evaluation of the same as-soon-as-possible.
